Busy Bees

2-year olds | Monday-Thursday

Ms. Kaitlyn & Ms. Shelby

Our focus is on building a strong foundation for success by helping our students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Classroom Philosophy

In our classroom, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged, active, and interested in what they are learning. At two, they are striving for their first steps of independence, yet still, want the comfort and security of familiarity. This year we will explore a variety of sensory, cognitive, language, social, and cultural activities. We are intentional and fully prepared with curriculum to guide the children daily. We believe that each child is a unique gift from God and we are blessed to be a part of their lives!

Our Teachers

Kaitlyn Mizer

This is my first year at Nativity and I could not be more excited to be the lead teacher of the busy bees classroom and apart of this community! I graduated this past May with my associates degree in early childhood education. I have lots of experience working with children! I began babysitting when I was only 14 years old and continued doing it up until I graduated. A fun fact about me is I am diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome! Another fact about me is I have lived in Hendersonville, NC my entire life. I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, walking outdoors, and spending time with my animals. I have 3 cats, a ferret and a small parakeet. I am currently engaged to my best friend and getting married later this year!
