Children grow so much at this age and are sponges ready to soak up the knowledge you offer them. Because of this, we endeavor to provide a variety of activities and experiences to meet the needs of each individual child. Not all children learn in the same way and we strive to balance the curriculum to reach all the multiple intelligences. We endeavor to create a learning environment that is structured and unstructured; informative and creative; active and quiet; and in which children are given the opportunity to both observe and participate. We seek to help every child to develop skills that will foster independence, social skills, cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual development. Our goal is to prepare each child in our classroom to be ready to continue onto Kindergarten.

I have been married for 22 years and have 3 children; two girls and a boy; ages, 19, 15 and 13; and a chocolate lab named Oliver who adds a little more fun and craziness to our active family. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Child Development from the University of Arizona. This is my 8th year teaching pre-K at Nativity and 9th year teaching at Nativity Preschool. I have a combined 12 years experience teaching preschool-aged children as I have enjoyed teaching in toddler, 2, 3, and 4-year old classrooms. I am very active in supporting my children in their many academic and athletic activities. I also enjoy volunteering in my children’s schools and currently serve as an Athletic Booster Club officer. I feel very fortunate to be able to be a part of your children’s lives over the next year and look forward to guiding their explorations and watching them play and grow.
This is my 2nd year at NPK. I have been married for 15 years and have 2 girls ages 12 and 7. I moved here in 2007 from Long Island, New York. I am active at my girls’ schools, volunteering in the classroom as well as serving on the PTO board. I am excited to be a part of NPK, especially with the Sunshine Kids. I am proud to help your children learn, grow, and love school!
